So in my last post I was going to hit the ground running. I had great intentions. Unfortunately my asthma had a different plan. I was have a hard time keeping it under control. So I finally went to the Dr. and was put on a new inhaler. Thank god that worked. I gave it almost 2 weeks to working. I feel so much better!I have energy now. Its great.
I went back to boxing tonight. Dear god...I cannot take months off from that. It was a true ass kicker! I loved it. I'm going back tomorrow. I'm so happy I'm able to work out again. I can finally get back on track with taking better care of myself and losing some weight.
I'm going to enjoy the rest of my night, watching pointless TV and enjoying my Christmas decorations. I just love this time of year.

"getting back on the horse"
So its been about a month since I have done any kind of exercise. I got cancelled from work tonight and since its a Monday I though why not. I have a bit of daylight left. So I put Yadi's leash on and we went for a quick run. It was great! I did about 2 miles, but it was fantastic! I also did a little routine when I got home. I forgot how great I feel when I work out. I've been kind of beating myself up lately for just sitting on the couch. This is just what I needed.
About a month ago I found a little site called Pinterest. They have a fitness area on the site. I found a routine that I can do at home really quick. I think it took me about 10 mins to do and my arms, legs, and stomach are sore...which is awesome. They also have some great tips and other great routine. Plus tons of motivating pictures!
I'm plan on keeping track of my weight loss on here. If I make it public then I have to keep up right??
So its Monday November 14 and I believe my weight is 173-175. I want to get to 160. My jean size is 12. I would like to be back in size 8. Here goes nothing!! I'm going to also try to give little tips on how to stay motivated. I'm going to try and adjust my eating habits as well. First thing is first...getting my ass off the couch!

Long time no blog
Its been a while since I have wrote. Not a whole lot has been going on in my neck of the woods. I was in Chicago last weekend with my bestie Mel. We had a fabulous time. While we where there my cards won the world series!! I can't really express how exciting that was! The only bad thing was I was not able to stop and see my great friend Kim on out way home. I'm planning on a special trip to see her very soon.
This weekend my family had a surprise birthday party for my grandpa. He turned 80 this year. He was a great man. I'm sure our family wouldn't be what it is without him. I just love him so much! I hope he enjoyed the whole party.
Now I'm just sitting on my couch, watching TV and relaxing. My house is clean for the week. I hope everyone had a great weekend!

long day
Yesterday was a very very long day. I worked Monday night, so I spelt almost all day on monday. I got up around 1:30 pm. I went to work nothing new there. Then I had a car seat class afterwards...almost fell asleep there. Then I was running around the rest of the day. I bet you wonder,,,what about sleeping...on that did happen until about 9 pm.
I did go to a new eye Dr though. I got tested to see if I would be a good candidate for eye surgery. And....the Dr said I was the perfect candidate!! :) I can't wait. I scheduled the surgery for Jan 27th, after that no more contacts or glasses for this lady. I'm so excited about it!!
Then I went to visit my friend Jamie, who just so happens to do my hair. I wanted to go back dark. She did a great job, as usual. It is a bit red but I still love it.
So yesterday was a very long day but a wonderful one! I got to sleep about 16 hours. I feel way better :)

I did it!!
So I did the half marathon!! I actually was able to run the whole thing! Its such a great feeling crossing that finish line. We even got a medal!! :) I made pretty good time. 2 hours and 31 mins, no bad for a first timer. I'm actually ready to get out and run again... I feel like a crazy person.

getting close
So the half marathon is on Saturday. I've very nervous about it. We did 10 miles the other week and I was actually able to run the whole thing. I can't believe I'm getting ready to do this. Last year at this time I was barely able to run 3 miles. This is going to be fun. Just have to keep telling myself that :)
Completely other note. My StL cardinals are in the post season. This is when I miss living in stl. People in KC have no clue what post season baseball is like. Plus I have to work tonight, so I don't get to watch the game. I'm so happy I have a smart phone I'll be able to keep up with the score.

getting back at it
So...I attempted to run again today 3 days after getting my wisdom teeth removed. Lets just say I did horrible. Just 1.6 miles. horrible. I have to run a half marathon in two weeks. I hope I can get back to where I was before the surgery and injury I had before that.
I was productive today though. I dug up the roses in the front yard and replaced them with very pretty mums. Plus I finally planted the day lilies my mom gave me.
I hope tomorrow I'll be able to run better...fingers crossed :)

Hello
I've been going back and forth if I was going to start blogging. I'm the best writer, nor do I always have something to write about. Also I can be a horrible speller. We will see how I like this. I plan on keeping track of my new love of running and how owning a house. I hope this will be a nice little release. We will see what will come of this!
